Welcome to Tin Can Learners!
Tin Can Learners was a project-based, community-oriented, remote after-school program intent on spreading joyful learning in the days of online school. Started by five undergraduates who were frustrated with online learning themselves, Tin Can took the load off of parents with engaging and energizing after-school classes during fall and winter of 2020.

Tin Can Learners teaches material that is not part of the standard K-12 curriculum. Our classes are project-based (and we don’t assign homework!). Students complete a session having acquired a new skill, made something that they were proud of, and feeling more connected amidst the world of online learning.
